New Spring and Summer Classes
PAINTING AND DRAWING MODERN MASTERPIECES --
In this class students will produce timeless work that will be cherished for years. These large 16” x 20” pieces of art painted on archival paper are sure to find a home on your walls! Young students use professional tools and nontoxic acrylic paints. Students gain an appreciation for different artists while learning various techniques through step-by-step visual demonstrations. The sunny Art Studio at the Warren Building provides a perfect creative oasis! Please note that there will be a very friendly dog, Mason the Corgi, in the classroom.

April Vacation Week Program
PAINTING AND DRAWING MODERN MASTERPIECES
Tuesday - Thursday/ April 16 - 18/ 1:00 - 4:00 / Ages 7 - 13 / Limited to 8 students
Step-by-step visual demonstration on how to draw and paint two artworks by modern or contemporary masters. Subjects may include an animal, a still life, a landscape or a figure. Students will learn about composition, color theory, shading and handling the paint brush to create different textural effects. Painted with professional quality acrylics on the finest papers, these 16” x 20” paintings will fit into standard size frames. You’ll want to make room on your walls for these! All new paintings even for previous/experienced students. More information on D’Ann can be found at her website at dannhansen.com. All materials included. SUMMER PAINTING & DRAWING MODERN MASTERPIECES
In these summer weeks timeless work will be created that will be cherished for years. These large 16" x 20" pieces of art painted on archival paper are sure to find a home on your walls! Young students use professional tools and nontoxic acrylic paints. Students gain an appreciation for different artists while learning various techniques through step-by-step visual demonstrations. New paintings will be completed each session ensuring that continuing students never paint the same artwork twice. The sunny Art Studio at the Rec. Center provides a perfect creative oasis! All material included. Please note that D’Ann’s dog, Mason, a very friendly Corgi, will be in the classroom.
